Why Should You Advertise Your Vintage Trailer for Sale at Cecilia the Shasta?
Ready to sell your vintage trailer?
In the last couple of months we added a new feature here at Cecilia the Shasta. If you frequent our site, you have noticed that people are advertising their vintage trailers here on our pages. If you haven’t, you can find some of these adorable trailers by clicking here.
If you are selling your vintage trailer, I have 3 reasons why you should consider advertising here:
Reach Vintage Trailer Buyers from Across America
When we sold Cecilia we posted her on Facebook marketplace and our local Craigslist. Both of these web sites only reach a local audience. Since it was winter, I didn’t post her to this web site for a couple of months. Once I did, everything changed. People from California and Florida were contacting me and asking the weight so they could have Cecilia the Shasta shipped to them. She ended up selling to someone 3 hours away.
Your trailer isn’t just seen on this page, but on several other social media platforms. Check out our Instagram page to get an idea of what we do.
Increase Sale Price of Your Vintage Trailer
There are a lot of variables when pricing a vintage trailer and determining the value. One of those variables is location. Your trailer may be worth more to someone in another state than it is in your area. Once you reach buyers from across America, you also increase the chances of getting your asking price and the full value of the trailer.
Sell Your Vintage Trailer Faster
Once you hire us to sell your vintage trailer, we begin looking for a buyer. We spend a lot of time with the vintage trailer community and we will be quick to point it out if we have listed a trailer in a specific area where someone is searching. You are buying a lot more than just the advertising space. We can’t guarantee that you will sell, but we will do our best to help potential buyers notice your vintage trailer for sale.
Right now, buyers are on the hunt for the perfect vintage trailer to pull up beside the lake this summer. It is a great time to list your trailer. We are currently offering a discounted rate on our Premiere Package. You can see the details here.

Vintage Trailer for Sale | 1970 Bison Travel Trailer {SOLD}
Camper:1970 Bison
location:Barnesville, GA
Notes from Owner:
‘About 1970’ Bison camper has been completely renovated, rewired, plumbed, painted and decorated. 16 feet long. Good tires. Ready to pull. Outfitted for your first ‘glamping’ trip! Glamping is ‘glamorous camping’ and this sweet camper is perfect for ladies. It has a full bathroom, memory foam double bed, air conditioning, dining booth ( that turns into a second bed). The interior is beadboard paneling that has been painted and antiqued. A crystal chandelier hangs over the dining area. Gas heat and hot water. Stove and oven have been removed for more counter space and no one ever wants to cook inside a camper anyhow – unless with microwave or toaster oven. Original refrigerator/freezer works well. Exterior has been painted with flowers and hummingbirds. We call her the ‘Giggle Garden’, but you can choose a new name to reflect your fun times.
