UPDATE FROM OWNER: The tires are about 3 years old and she is road ready!! Here is some basic info… for a 1965 it’s In great condition. I’m the second owner with clean title and the original kept it stored in a garage most of its life. It’s 18feet. sleeps 4 (2 twin beds). No bathroom. Does have heat, stove, oven , fridge, sink, water hook ups inside and out. Everything works however I have never personally used the heater. New exterior paint job and less then 2 Year old tires with great treads. Original crank windows. There is NO bathroom and NO AC. I like to tell people that because it seems to be the main reason most ladies don’t want to buy it! 18 foot. Around 2000 lbs. The camper is in Raleigh NC near wake med hospital. Off new bern ave. I tow it easily with my jeep cherokee.
Adding an air conditioning unit to this little Aristocrat wouldn’t be difficult. For inspiration, check out how we cool our Shasta compact. There are a lot of great air conditioning options for vintage campers. Don’t let that detour you from making this Aristocrat yours. You could be standing in front of that little vintage stove on your next camping trip. Here are some new recipes to try while you are there.
