Vintage Siesta travel trailer for sale.  This 12 ft. 1956 canned ham camper is a complete frame-off restoration. At 1740 pounds, it is titled and can easily be towed with your SUV.  When I purchased this Siesta travel trailer, I intended to clean it up some and place it in my backyard for my grand kids to play in. Upon further inspection, however, I discovered it was in pretty bad shape. So bad, in fact, that I ended up tearing it down to the frame.

Every inch of this classic including all of the framing, cabinets and exterior have been replaced or restored. I used what I could as a pattern and went to work rebuilding everything to its original specifications.  Windows are original but rubber seals, screws and screens are replaced. Foam for the 3/4 bed and seat cushions is 4″ high density top quality. Cushions are re-upholstered.

I have been a finish carpenter for over 40 years so this restoration is quality craftsmanship. In addition to the framing and flooring, all plumbing and electrical are new. Springs and tires are also new.  The original stove/oven was in great shape. I took it all apart, cleaned and repainted it and had the grates and the door reporcelained. I restored the original ice box and replaced all the seals. The kitchen sink is original as is the pump faucet. Storage is abundant. Not only are there over-head bins, but there is a pantry/closet, five kitchen drawers and  ample storage under the bed area- enough room to store a porta- potty.
